This time three years ago Robin was working out of state and with a surprise visit from me, we spent Valentine’s Day and got to enjoy a Mardi Gras celebration in Pensacola Florida. Let me tell ya, the people living in Pensacola Beach know how to enjoy life. We listened and danced to some fantastic music, ate wonderful food, talked to fascinating people. I was amazed at how many of them (practically all) were not originally from Florida or surrounding areas. There were so many delightful people of all ages young/middle/seasoned from ALL OVER that has come together and formed this wonderful, beautiful community full of love, laughter and life.
Here I am drowning in beads from the Krewe of Wrecks Mardi Gras Parade – it was phenomenal
Robin standing with some of the locals dressed up for the celebration. (I picked these two darling and cute mermaids for the pose 😉 ).
We left Florida in shorts and flipflops only to drive back home to snow!! It was crazy, we couldn’t believe it!! We were reminiscing about how much fun we had and are thinking about going back around that same time of year for a vacation. We think know it will be yet again a blast! – good times, good memories.
I do hope everyone has a great day.
If the two of you get anymore adorable! I hope you get to go back to Pensacola soon as well! 🙂

Haha, I loved the pose of you in all of the beads. Now the stories of how women get the beans in New Orleans made me wonder how you earned yours! Haha Just kidding! Both of those pictures are priceless, my dear. Robin was obviously having a horrible time! 😉

HAHAHA! He was miserable ;). I did not have to bare any necessities for the beads thank goodness otherwise I would have been beadless hee-hee the parade floats were loaded down with them and were being thrown out by the handfuls.
